Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Resimay. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or otherwise using Resimay (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Resimay.
2. Description of Service
Resimay is an AI-powered job application tracker that helps you tailor your resume to specific job descriptions, track your job applications, analyze rejection patterns, and draft follow-up communications.
The Service is offered in two tiers: a Free tier with limited usage, and a Pro tier with expanded capabilities available via paid subscription. Feature details for each tier are described in Section 5 and on our Pricing page.
3. Account Registration
To use Resimay, you must create an account with a valid email address and accurate information. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information and keep it up to date.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Take full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Resimay only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service for any illegal activity or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Resimay platform.
- Submit false or fabricated job application data to manipulate platform features.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any individual or organization.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Free vs. Pro Tier
Free tier includes: up to 5 active jobs tracked, 3 AI resume tailors per month, 1 rejection analysis per month, basic keyword match (top 3 missing keywords), and the AI-powered resume grader at signup. Free features use our standard AI model.
Pro tier includes: unlimited jobs tracked, unlimited AI resume tailors, unlimited rejection analysis, full keyword breakdown, personalized follow-up email drafts, resume download as .docx and PDF, full Global Insights access, and priority support. Pro features use our advanced AI model for noticeably better output quality.
Feature availability may change. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to tier features.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Resimay uses AI to generate resume tailoring suggestions, keyword analysis, rejection insights, and follow-up email drafts. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions.
The AI output provided by Resimay is not professional career advice, legal advice, or a guarantee of job search success. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it in your job applications or other communications. Resimay is a tool to assist your process, not a substitute for your own judgment.
Performance claims.Marketing materials may reference typical AI processing times (for example, “under 2 seconds” for job description extraction). These figures describe typical performance under normal conditions with short- to medium-length inputs and reliable network connectivity. Actual latency varies with input length, upstream AI provider load, network conditions, and other factors outside our control, and may be longer. Performance figures are illustrative, not guaranteed service levels.
7. Intellectual Property
Your content: You retain full ownership of your resume content and any other data you submit to the Service.
License to Resimay: By using the Service, you grant Resimay a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.
Resimay platform:The Resimay name, logo, platform, software, design, and all related intellectual property are owned by Resimay. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use Resimay's intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the Service.
8. Trademark
“Resimay” and the Resimay logo are unregistered trademarks of the operator of the Service. Trademark registration is pending. Unauthorized use of the Resimay name or logo is prohibited. You may not use the Resimay name or logo in any way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without our prior written consent.
9. Payment and Refunds
Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a weekly, monthly, or 90-day basis, depending on the plan you select. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Refunds: No refunds for partial billing periods on any plan. You may cancel at any time and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. If something went wrong on our end, email support and we will make it right.
All prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be purged within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that could harm Resimay or other users.
11. Limitation of Liability
Resimay is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular job search outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resimay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, loss of income, or data loss.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Resimay in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law
Resimay is operated from the Province of Ontario, Canada. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the Province of Ontario, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief in small claims court for matters within that court's jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer residing outside Canada, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence may apply in addition to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
